Idea voguesta, materiaali idea Suuresta käsityöstä, kaava Zaran mustasta topista, materiaalit Eurokankaasta, lopputulos käsistäni. Näin syntyi mun bikiniyläosa.

Selailin vogueta, josta löysin idean ja inspiraation bikiniin, Suuresta Käsityöstä etsin työhön sopivan materiaali ehdotuksen ja Eurokankaasta ostin mustaa uimapuku lycraa ja satiini nauhaa. Kaavan piirsin tavallisesta Zaran topista.

Malliltaan bikini on luonnollisesti toppikaavan vuoksi toppimainen.

Tykkään lopputuloksesta ja se on juuri sellainen kuin pitikin. Bikini on kivan näköinen, sopiva ja riittävän huoliteltu.

Selästä bikini on avoin ja olkain lyhyt nauhan vuoksi.

Okuliinacraft in traffic

You know, the feeling when sometimes something very small makes your day way much better.

Well, that happened me today, on my way to school. I was tired and frustrated because at the moment i was so fed up with school and schedules and ordinary stuff. Yeah, I like everyday ordinary life, but atm I need something to change. It was dark and cold and I was in a little rush, a little stressed out and tired (hey, it was about 7.40am in the morning). Well my frustration is not the thing over here now. The thing is that suddenly when I was waiting for the traffic lights to give me my way, next to me was standing a girl, about my age (or a little older/younger). I think that she was a little mentally retarded. I was listening music so probably I didn’t hear her first, but then I noticed that she was clearly talking to someone, and the someone happened to be me. The girl was flattering my  bag, the Okuliinacraft bag with reflectors. She was interested about where’s the bag from and how is it made and she thought that it was really amazing and inventive. I told her that I have made the bag myself by sewing. She flattered the bag more and said that it’s pretty amazing that I have had enough patient, creativity and time to sew my bag by myself. OK, I get it it maybe it’s little weird when some random (mentally retarded) girl just comes to flatter my bag, but in that moment it felt so good and positive. It made my morning a way much more better. For the girl it probably wasn’t such a big deal to say that my bag is beautiful and nice, but it was a big deal for me! A small saying that made my morning better and positive. We stood there talking about the bag for a while, until the traffic light gave us our way, she wished a happy day for me and I wished back, then i carried on my way and said goodbye. The girl had made me smile.

And just for 20min earlier I had snapped about my frustration (Arkeen kyllästynyt=Frustrated with ordinary)

Diy Notebooks

Hi! last time I wrote in English was also a school post about going back to school. This time I have some diy notebooks for you guys! I’m not very motivated to school right now, but I’ve decorated most of  my notebooks anyway, because why not. I like decorating things. All the notebooks are covered with contact paper. I don’t have my all notebook in these pictures now, beacuase either they are plein or they’re at school in my locker.

Materials: notebook,  contact paper, scissors, magazines, papers, pen/pens, glue stick, string, a needle
Difficulty (1-5):  1-2

So my chemistry book’s cover has a embroidered carton. I just took a needle and string and started making a random pattern.
Swedish notebook is covered with parts of a Swedish magazine’s texts.
French notebook has a French stamp on it, a flag of France, some grammar boxes and a quote.
On those colored boxes read the subject, classroom and teacher, day and time. My school started month ago and still I don’t remember my timetable by heart. Almost all notebooks have that box, it helps me to remember.
Home economics notebook is full of food pictures from an old magazine.

I guess this was everything this time.

Back to school!

Somewhere the schools have started already. My school starts on Thursday. It’s time to get some new school stuff. I made some crafts and some diys for the new school year! Down I’ll put the photos and to some supllies I’ll write instructions. I hope these will give some ideas!

Because chewing gum is one of the most important school supplies, I made two gum bags for my friends. I already have my own from last year. And why we don’t eat gum straight from the original package is that it rustles and if you take it out everybody near wants gum and then all your gum’s gone.

Also coffee mug is one of the most important school supplies so i made a little decoration for my new mug, so now it looks more like it’s mine.

And the to the ”real” school supplies, notebooks, pens etc.

Because school books have like billion pages and you have to find the page quickly a bookmark is more than useful. Cut a rectangular piece of paper fold it as it’s fold in the second picture and then fold it once again as in the third picture, then tape it or glue it (I glued mine)

Everyone own markers. I like to underline things and be organised  so I classyfied my markers and now it’s even easier to find things from underlined texts.

For notebook decoration I used old magazines and made pockets for worksheets. Notebook covers I emroided randomly and covered them with plastic after that.

My pencilcase for this year iscrocheted from black cotton yarn with a grey zipper.

And for all my stuff I need a schoolbag ofcourse! I sewed a grey canvas bag with black and gold zipper. The pocket is mostly only a decoration, and look there’s a piece of the ribbon I bought from Estonia.

I wish good luck and successful year for all students! Don’t forget to check my instagram account also! Click here to get into my instagram acc.
